I love to blog! This blog will be mostly dedicated to the art of writing. I also have two additional blogs: More Than Words on Blogspot.com that deals with every topic under the sun and Theuerkauf's Tails on Blogspot.com that pertains to my crazy life as a mother to 7 fur babies.
I hope you enjoy reading my blogs! I would love to connect with you!
This book is the amazing story of Nubs. Nubs was an abandoned dog living in the desert of Iraq. One day, he meets Marine Major Brian Dennis. Nubs' world quickly changes forever.
The photos in the story are absolutely beautiful and heartwarming. I actually read this story with my Therapy Dog while visiting a Kids' Club in the area. The children not only loved that the story was about a dog, but that the story was true! They could not believe all of the obstacles that Nubs had overcome.
I would have rated the book with 5 stars, however, there are several spelling and grammatical errors. Being an author myself, I understand that no one is perfect. However, if you are writing a children's book, one should make absolutely sure that the copy is perfect before publishing the book. Afterall, children that are learning to read may be encouraged to try this book and spelling mistakes will not help to make them good readers.
